Poor Ted. The incompetent lawyer of Scared Heart often considered committing suicide due to his depression and dissatisfaction with life. It seemed his only release was his a cappella band The Worthless Peons, but even then the name is ridiculously self-deprecating, reflecting Teds unhappiness. He is often abused by not only Dr. Kelso, but others in the hospital, if not for his unfavourable appearance, then for his ineptitude as a lawyer, leaving Ted with severe emotional scarring. He also shares a rather bizarre relationship with his mother, as it is revealed that they used to share the same bed. Ted is an innocent soul and were encouraged to root for him over the course of the series. We want to see him stand up to Kelso, to sort out his personal life and release a hit song. But hes mistreated by almost everyone around him, crippling him with insecurities and a sense of worthlessness.
