In truth, there were a lot of moments or arcs from Jessica Jones that could've made it onto this list. From the end of the first episode, with the shocking realisation Hope is still under Kilgrave's control, to the entire relationship between Jessica and the villain, which wasn't afraid to confront some pretty heavy themes such as abuse, it was a very powerful, personal, and emotional season of television. However, while it might have been Jessica and Kilgrave's story that was central to the plot, it was the bond between Jessica and Trish that gave it its heart. Krysten Ritter and Rachael Taylor both gave extremely strong and thoroughly convincing performances, people who were damaged but resilient, and doing their best to get through it. That was capped off in the season finale, and even if the whole 'I love you' play was a little predictable, it didn't stop it from working really well, and it was great and certainly emotional to watch.
