3. City Primeval

It seems that Deadwood: The Movie isn't the only western-themed revival Timothy Olyphant will end up starring in, as his hit series Justified is set to receive a sequel spin-off series based on Elmore Leonard's 1980 novel "City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit"

The novel is centered around a Detroit homicide detective named Raymond Cruz who seeks out the deranged murderer of a corrupt city judge.

Though it doesn't actually feature Olyphant's lawman Raylan Givens, word on the street says he may either be retrofitted as the protagonist or appear in a supporting role, the particulars of which are still being worked out.

All the principal creatives - namely Justified creator Graham Yost - are returning for the project, which is still in its early stages, but what a promising assemblage of talent this already is.
