10. House Of Cards Season 5

After a middling third season, House of Cards returned to form in Season 4. With an election on the horizon, it had a renewed sense of focus, and a new enemy for the Underwoods to try and topple.

It couldn't quite reflect the craziness of the real life 2016 election, but it did its best, including an assassination attempt that killed off a major supporting character, and gave us Frank at his most vulnerable.

Season 5 will build on the election, with the culmination of the battle between the Underwoods and Conways. It'll also have to deal with the terrorist situation that played out at the end of Season 4, and, of course, that surprising reveal about Claire means it should be a pretty different show in Season 5.
