10 Most Iconic Scenes In Friends

10. The Routine (The One With The Routine)

Celebrating the new year (or "fake new year", in this case) is always an exciting time that makes your inhibitions and insecurities fade away. Still, for this iconic brother/sister duo, maybe they should have felt a little more embarrassed.

In this scene, the Geller siblings are dancing on the set of Dick Clark's New Year's Rocking Eve and fighting to get themselves placed onto a platform so they'll get some screen time. To attract the attention of the selection guy, they bust out a dance routine from their youth, and it's an overwhelmingly goofy, ridiculous and hilarious time.

The dance itself was memorable enough, but Ross and Monica's arrogant stroll towards the man deciding who dances atop the platform was the icing on the cake. For the second-hand embarrassment and the raucous amount of laughter it caused, there's no doubt "The Routine" deserves its place here.

Adding even more hilarity to this scene is the fact that the dance itself was choreographed by the founder of the Pussycat Dolls, Robin Antin. So it looks like Ross and Monica really did hit the A-list with that one.
