10. Audrey Wakes Up

It was great seeing Audrey make her triumphant return in the new series, for the fleeting segments that it lasted. She was mostly known in the original as the adventurous exuberant teen, who stole the hearts of many. She even had her own theme music.

Her story arc in the original show ended with Audrey being caught up in a big explosion. Was there any closure beyond that? Yes and no...but mostly no. The new series saw her engaging in numerous arguments with an exhaustively boring partner, before letting her hair down in the Roadhouse nightclub.

Seeing her dancing whimsically to Audrey's Dance is a great hallmark to the classic series. The background audience in the club also seemed to enjoy it. Unfortunately it gets interrupted by a barroom brawl, at which point Audrey goes into a panic and 'wakes up' terrified and confused in a sterile white room in front of a mirror. We never saw her again.

Both the scene and the episode ended with the in-house jazz band, replaying Audrey's Dance, but now in reverse.
