Network: AMC Premiere Date: May 2016 Now that Mad Men and Breaking Bad have both wrapped up, AMC finds itself in a bit of a pickle. They've become known over the past five or ten years for having creative original programming, but they've been struggling to find material that resonates with audiences as much as their two recently departed hits. Halt and Catch Fire and Turn are both quality shows in their own right, but haven't been getting the audiences that AMC has come to depend on. Luckily for them, they still have The Walking Dead. Which brings us to Preacher, another popular graphic novel with supernatural elements that takes place in the American South. This is the story of a preacher with special powers, and his bizarre yet awesome friendship with an Irish vampire. Don't question it. Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, who has never done a bad acting job ever, and brings together Misfits alums Ruth Negga and Joe Gilgun, which only makes it even more awesome.
