Doctor Who may have ended its latest season, but there's still one episode to go this year, and it's a biggie. While a lot of Who Christmas Specials tend to just be fluff, 2017's will bring with it the end of a major era and the start of a new one.

Steven Moffat and Peter Capaldi will be looking to go out on a high, and the big focus is going to be on the regeneration scene as Capaldi becomes Jodie Whittaker.

We've been teased a different sort of regeneration, and the 12th Doctor doesn't want to go, so it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out in Twice Upon A Time.
