10. The Ratings Are Slipping

The season 6 finale attracted only 14.2 million viewers, a staggering 10 per cent drop from the season 5 finale, which seen 15.8 million viewers tune-in for the episode. For the 18-49 audience the drop was bigger, at 15 per cent.

While the season 7 premiere attracted a high percentage of viewers, it seems that the numbers only spike when poop is about to hit the fan. In general, a growing boredom seems to be developing with young viewers, and AMC needs to figure out what the next step is pretty soon.

The Daryl development is one of the shows last unseen plot-lines, so lets hope it's the final move.
