3. Duke Silver's Groupies

One of Parks and Rec's all-time greatest running gags is Duke Silver, the jazz saxophonist alter-ego of Ron Swanson, who is first revealed in the season two episode "Practice Date."

But a deleted scene from the episode takes things further, revealing that his fanbase consists primarily of mature women, after which we're subjected to a couple of talking head interviews with Duke's aforementioned fans.

One calls him "the sexiest man alive," while another confesses she had a sex dream about Duke, before Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) interjects to bluntly assert, "All these old ladies wanna f**k Ron."

This prompted the fan theory that April's mother, a self-confessed Duke Silver fan, could very well have been a Duke groupie in her younger days, and that Ron - er, Duke - could even be her father. Think about it.

Hilariously, after the episode was aired, NBC actually created a now-defunct Duke Silver website, complete with a biography, discography, tour schedule, and even booking information.
