2013 was a big year for TV endings. Breaking Bad and Dexter shuffled off to the big crime show channel in the sky, having ruled the airwaves for a significant chunk of time, and fans will be left feeling like there's a major hole in the scheduling. Thankfully though, the year also saw the beginning and continuation of many fantastic TV shows, from riveting dramas such as Game Of Thrones and Mad Men to hysterical comedies like Community and Parks & Recreation, so there's no need to throw the remote away in disgust just yet. But naturally, with this collection of first-rate shows also came those which were somewhat less cerebral, and which somehow continue to clog up TV screens, despite the stark revelation that they are inconceivably stupid, and are probably having a massively detrimental effect on their audiences. There's no denying that most of us will, from time to time (probably more than we'd like to admit) slump into our armchairs, in our favourite pyjamas, and switched on something that doesn't take a great deal of brain power after the rigours of a working day. But the worrying fact is, while you're sitting there aiming your head gormlessly at the colourful images, you're probably losing a few thousand brain cells with every viewing of certain shows. With that in rapidly shrinking mind, we're looking at a collection of the worst TV shows from 2013 that probably made you dumber. They are counter-productive, counter-creative and counter-intelligent, and sadly, they're probably here to stay...
