Hey, it's a classic for a reason. The exploits of Richie Cunningham and Co create such a warm sense of nostalgia that we don't think that there's a person alive who doesn't find Happy Days at least a little bit endearing. It's basically an institution in popular culture, having created both the character of the Fonz as well as the painfully overused expression "jumping the shark". But setting aside its legacy, the show really was a lot of fun. Ron Howard may not have wanted to continue his acting career after finishing with Happy Days, but his wholesome performance as Richie is totally adorable, and an essential anchor to some of the more eccentric characters. For example, Arthur Fonzarelli. Let's be honest, the show lives and dies with the Fonz, and he alone is reason enough for the show to make this list. How many among us have not hit malfunctioning electronics, hoping that we're cool enough to fix it just like Fonzie did with the jukebox?
