Still, in many ways Doctor Who is a celebration of the power of art, literacy and non-conformity over the forces of hate. Its characters strive to find imaginative solutions, embrace lateral thinking and appreciate the absurd. People who love the programme tend to share many of these ideals and qualities, marking them out as exactly the sort of person that would make a good life partner.
