Tyrion is an amazing character. He's incredibly intelligent, viciously funny, and permanently "on trial for being a dwarf", but despite being George R.R. Martin's favourite character, don't expect him to make it to the end credits of the finale with air in his lungs. I'm seeing a heart-breaking, yet triumphant death for one of modern TV's greatest characters. I can see it now, in my head; everyone realises that Tyrion was the voice of reason, the voice of sanity all along, before a heroic death fit for a legendary spot in history. Everyone wants to see him, ride off into the sunset, with a wife by his side and a flock of tiny Tyrions, but that's just not the way Thrones works.
