10 Things We're All Waiting To See Happen In The Walking Dead

10. The Governor (Not Brian) Returns

After a quick shot of the Governor glaring at the prison from the edge of the forest, we€™re waiting to see his vicious return. In the most recent episode, we saw him crumble into the shell of a man he once was. He became Brian rather than the Governor. Brian was given much more depth than he could have even see in himself €“ at least when he€™s looking in a mirror. But based on his demeanour staring at the prison, we know the Governor still exists. We caught a glimpse of the Governor€™s return as he slaughtered walkers in the pit to save Meghan, the little girl. He doesn€™t just kill the walkers; he savagely tears them apart, revealing the once sinister and ruthless half of his character. Nonetheless, I don€™t think this pit was Brian€™s grave and the complete return of the Governor. I do, however, believe it revealed what will make Brian snap, ushering in the glorious and threatening return of the Governor that we€™ve all been waiting to see. In season 3, the Governor obsessed over his daughter, caring for her even when she was trying to bite him €“ more violently than the average toddler, that is. Now, in season 4, Meghan appears to have taken the place of his daughter. He€™s willing to risk his life for her, carrying her as he runs and guarding her when there€™s no where left to go. But once he€™s unable to protect her and the walkers cause her to turn, I believe that will be the moment he snaps. Unable to cope with the loss, Brian will dissolve and the Governor will rise.
