10 Things We All Do On Netflix
10. Tell The Younger Generation Of Darker Times
Nothing will make you feel older than trying to explain to youths what on-demand TV was like before Netflix (well that and referring to young people as "youths").
Although we all have fond memories of going to Blockbuster on a Friday night, picking out some films to watch over the weekend and watching them whilst mum and dad fought about how often the postman comes over whilst dad's at work, there is no denying that it was far from convenient.
Years later, everyone's nips were blown off by the prospect of ordering a movie online and the postman being able to deliver it through your letterbox (my mother was especially excited by that, in fact, she loved it so much we would order 5 or six every week!).
As great as it is to reminisce with the younger generations about it, they're normally far from interested and instead will hit you with an "OK Boomer" do a dance from Fortnite and skate off on their Heelys whilst flawlessly rapping the opening verse to Cardi B's WAP.
The youths of today may not care but, as my step Dad says: "Much like us postmen, Netflix always delivers."
