Bethany Behrs was born on Boxing Day, December 26th 1985, to David Behrs, a college administrator, and his wife Maureen, a first grade teacher, though Behrs immediately found herself caught in the middle of theatres and football (soccer) tournaments. She started performing minor roles as a 4-year-old, but one of her greatest passions was football, as she travelled the length of the East Coast with her team playing in tournaments with other youngsters. Behrs played for nine years before quitting to focus solely on her acting career, a dream which started to become more serious as she entered her teenage years.
