1. Bernadette's Voice Is Based On Her Mother's

Rauch's high-pitched voice in the show is not how the actress speaks in real life, and explained that she based Bernadette's voice on her own mother, Susan. Some fans have questioned why she would want to adopt a much higher voice for the part, but ultimately, it suits the cutesy, innocent, 'good girl' image of Bernadette.

She's also well-known for pulling out an eerily good impression of Howard's loud-mouthed mother on the show, though it's likely we won't get to hear it again, following the sad death of Carol Ann Susi, who famously voiced Howard's mom, and was subsequently written out of the script.
