Shortly after taking the Prison Break role, Callies made her big-screen debut playing Marjorie in Armand Mastroianni's film adaptation of the best-selling book, The Celestine Prophecy. The book has sold over 23 million copies since 1993, making it one of the top selling novels of all-time, but the film flopped massively, grossing less than $1 million worldwide. Rotten Tomatoes damning verdict of the 2006 film is summed up with its 4% rating, cementing its place as a point of regret for Callies, though she still came through the criticism unscathed to produce a colourful career.
