David Morrissey has been the most effective villain to date on The Walking Dead. While not exactly the Governor of the comics, he put a fantastic spin on the character, making him more grounded, more human - and possibly making him more evil as a result of all that. In real life, Morrissey, originally from Liverpool, is married to novelist Esther Freud - the great granddaughter of the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud. Esther is best known as the author of Hideous Kinky, which was adapted for the big screen in 1998, starring Kate Winslet.
