Professor Frink could very well be the next Doctor - on the Simpsons anyway! Take Lisa or Marge as his companion, and you have the setting for a Treehouse of Horror segment that could pay homage to the British sci-fi classic. It's another one of those situations where the time is right, with the success of the modern Doctor Who series having spawned a strong community of "Whovians," and with the show in general having enough visibility among non-fans to at least make sense to those who don't follow the series religiously. Daleks on The Simpsons? Why not?
