10. Barb (Stranger Things)

Stranger Things isn't the type of show to kill off their main characters. For one, the four main leads are kids and killing little children doesn't really happen with Netflix originals. And it wouldn't really make sense because without these characters, Stranger Things would be nothing.

That just leaves one option: kill their best friends.

Barb was pals with the more popular Nancy, therefore it made sense to Stranger Things creators, The Duffer Brothers, to just get rid of her because nobody would care. That's what they thought anyway.

What they didn't expect was a national outcry. Hashtags such as #SaveBarb and #Justiceforbarb made their way around the world. Barb memes became the latest trend. Heck, she even featured in Jimmy Fallon's opening montage for the Golden Globes. What they didn't realize was that Barb was everybody watching at home. We were Barb! The main character's nerdy friend who doesn't have much luck with romance.

You would think such a public display of affection would convince the Duffer Brothers to bring her back. Sadly, they didn't, even though the show is about a made-up monster where literally anything could happen because it is magic. Oh Barb, you had so much potential.
