10. Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin

Hit teen drama series Pretty Little Liars has ventured into spinoff territory before - and unfortunately, the results haven't been great.

Due to some low ratings, both Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists were cancelled after one season, which doesn't exactly bode well for the franchise's next spinoff, Original Sin. Or maybe it'll be a case of third time lucky?

Announced in September 2020, Original Sin will follow a group of teen girls as they deal with the fallout of a "secret sin" that their parents committed two decades prior. The spinoff - which is also being billed as a reboot - will maintain canon with the original show, while also adopting a more "horror-tinged" tone to distinguish itself.

While exact plot and character details are unknown at this time, we do know that the series will debut with ten episodes on HBO Max. In addition, a rather ominous teaser video was dropped on YouTube late last year - so make of that what you will.
