Well its not a terrifying journey into the deepest darkest recesses of the damaged human psyche until people start eating the flesh of their fellow man. I men, everybodys doing it. Humans are decent meat and relatively easy prey if you know how to trick them. The whole terminus backstory is that they were held prisoner and raped. So when they got out they set up a slaughterhouse for people and lured them in with the promise of safety. This for once involves Rick but doesnt have any moral problem for him. From the terminus capture we get one of the first badass speeches from the group leader and we also get to see how involved and systematically prepared the cannibal slaughtering system is. Whats worse is that these guys actually see themselves as the victims. From an empathetic standpoint you can see why they snapped, which is difficult for viewers as they in reality feel no real amount of pity or remorse for them due to their actions. Terminus made us draw all sorts of lines in the sand. Some of which were questioned right away and some that were soon crossed.
