10 Ways Your Favourite TV Shows Will Probably End
10. Oliver Finds Peace And Hangs Up The Bow - Arrow
How much longer does Arrow have left? In the first couple of years, those involved with the show always talked about having a 'five-year plan'. That would mean that the flashbacks eventually caught up with Oliver's return in Season 1, tying things up in a neat bow (and arrow).
Now we're in Season 5, and while the show's quality declined in Seasons 3 and 4, it doesn't appear as though this will be the last - indeed, there's already been talk about Season 6.
What Season 5 is doing, though, is further exploring the idea of Oliver allowing others to help him, and even training them up himself. He's a man who wants two things: to find some sense of inner-peace, and to protect Star City.
It's unlikely he'll find that peace while still being the Arrow, but Star City can perhaps one day be protected without him. He could still continue as Mayor, working to save the city in the light, and finally escaping his own darkness.
But he surely cannot be the Green Arrow forever (no matter what 2046 says on Legends of Tomorrow). I don't see Arrow killing off Oliver, but simply completing his journey - whether that's at the end of Season 6, or maybe 7 - and choosing to step back from vigilante life (after a last epic battle, most likely against someone like Malcolm Merlyn or Deathstroke).
