Balthazar is another case of a rather cool villain being made less impressive by the fact that he couldn't move. Obese and confined to a tub where he frequently had to cool off, he was an ancient demon and sworn enemy of The Mayor. The design of Balthazar was half-inspired, half a rip-off of Blade. He was obviously a guy in a fat suit, and given he was served by a cult of dueling vampires, you really wanted to see him get up and join the fray, so the fact that he couldn't really reduced the character to a one-trick pony: angry and yelling but never a real threat.
