Not much can be said for this scene other than the emotion that flows from the brilliant actors; the fact that Desmond has been able to call her and that they still care for each other as much as they did when they first met. This is a relieving in the moment as the only thing we had seen from these two had been flashbacks, in their reality they still care for each other very much and thats all everyone who cared for Desmond ever wanted to know; and what makes this one of the greatest scenes in Lost.
