Robert Duvall is a shy bachelor, living in his parent’s basement, who becomes fascinated by a dollhouse in a museum. To him, the dolls are living people, acting out a drama that only he can see. As he becomes more and more unable to cope with the real world, he eventually becomes a part of the dollhouse’s world.

HOW COLORIZATION COULD HELP: It already has. This episode was originally broadcast only once, and was never put into syndication due to a lawsuit (later dismissed) that alleged the story was too close to a rejected script. When the episode was unveiled again in 1984, all the scenes inside the dollhouse were colorized, with the rest left in black and white.
