2018 has been yet another year absolutely stuffed with more TV shows than any normal person could ever hope to watch, and despite being in October there are no signs of Peak TV slowing down anytime soon.

Just this month, for example, we'll see the releases of The Haunting Of Hill House, Marvel's Daredevil Season 3, Making A Murderer Part 2, Castlevania Season 2, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and that's just on Netflix.

There are many more major series on the horizon, new and returning, both for the end of this year and to come in 2019 as well, ranging across a variety of streaming services (some of which don't even exist yet) and more traditional networks. We may not know too much about them just yet, but the first glimpses offer up hints of what's to come and help whet the appetite for your favourite to return or next TV obsession.

11. Future Man (Season 2)

Hulu/EW

Hulu's Future Man was a solid hit for the streaming service when it debuted last year, telling the story of a video game-loving janitor who finds himself involved in a real-life version of his favourite game and having to save the world.

Starring The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson, the comedy will be back for a second season, and EW unveiled a big first look at the new run of episodes earlier this month, including the rather intriguing one of Josh Futturman above.

It promises that the series will largely remain in one timeline in Season 2, staying put in 2062 and showing Josh dealing with the consequences of his actions and being a fish out of water. Season 2 will arrive on Hulu on January 11.
