2. Some Of The Cast Members Have Worked Together Before
Many of us know that Mayim Bialik was at one time a prolific child actor, best known for her role in Beaches and for playing the eponymous character in Blossom. But did you know that Johnny Galecki also made an appearance in one episode of the show as Blossom's crush? In one of his earliest television roles, Galecki played a rebellious youngster called Jason in the episode 'Sex, Lies and Teenagers', in which he persuades Blossom to sneak out to a 'make-out party' with him. Oh, nineties television...The man we now know as Leonard Hofstadter also had a regular role in sitcom Roseanne as David Healy, the delicate boyfriend of the title character's daughter Darlene (Sara Gilbert). Gilbert was also a Big Bang cast member in the early seasons, playing a recurring role as sharp-tongued physicist Leslie Winkle. Bonus trivia: Laurie Metcalf, the actor who plays Sheldon's conservative, doting mother Mary Cooper, also held a long-running role in Roseanne as Darlene's aunt, Jackie.
