11. Benjen Stark Is Coldhands

Because it was an almost blink and you’ll miss it moment, people could be forgiven for not remembering that Benjen Stark did briefly return in season 6 as the long-theorised Coldhands.

After saving Meera and Bran from a pack of wights, Benjen could not accompany the duo any further because of the magic of the Wall. This means Jon Snow and Sansa will not be able to reunite with their favourite uncle at Winterfell or anywhere else in Westeros.

But, with it being apparent from the series’ promotional material that Jon Snow and a group of loyal comrades will fight against an army of wights beyond the Wall, it is probable that Coldhands will again return to join in the fight against the White Walkers and their undead army.
