8. The Spiked Border 

As The Walking Dead neared the end of its ninth season, audiences really didn't need any more proof of just how sadistic and deranged Alpha could be. She abused her daughter, killed her own husband, and was more than willing to see a baby die because it was too loud. In the penultimate episode of the season, though, Alpha found a way to one-up herself.

After Daryl, Michonne, Carol and Yumiko head out to find some missing Hilltop residents, they're suddenly trapped and outnumbered by Beta and a gaggle of Whisperers. Alpha then appeared, and took Daryl to see her secret weapon - a walker horde thousands strong. She promised she wouldn't use it on the communities, so long as no one crossed her new border.

When Daryl asked what she meant, Alpha simply said: "You'll see it as you leave." And sure enough, right where she said it was, Daryl, Michonne, Carol and Yumiko found a dozen of their dead friends' reanimated heads placed on pikes, including Tara Chambler, Enid and Carol's son, Henry.

With that, Alpha's evil ways rivalled that of Negan's. Speaking of which...
