Its set to be an original one-off special rather than a TV show, and as the name suggests it will be taking place at Christmas. It will see the comedian worried no one will show up to his TV show due to a massive snowstorm in New York City. Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at Gothams Carlyle hotel to help him dancing and singing in holiday spirit.
The actor has co-written the special alongside Scrooged writer Mitch Glazer and Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola, wholl also be behind the camera. Guest stars are set to include George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, and Miley Cyrus.
The very brief teaser shows Murray in a pair of Rudolph ears, and frankly if that doesnt get you excited for Christmas and this show then nothing is going to. Jingle Bills, anyone?
