15. F Is For Family - Chet & Frank In The Jet

F Is For Family just launched its third season and it continues to fly a little under the radar, despite the voice talents of Bill Burr, Laura Dern, Sam Rockwell, and Justin Long. This season, Vince Vaughn joined the block, and his early days gave us one of the year’s best animated moments.

The show has always had a very grounded sense of realism, so such a high octane action sequence was a big departure from the usual formula. Thankfully, it was a risk that paid off.

Chet takes Frank up in his jet, then lets the plane plummet to the ground. As Frank screams goodbyes to his wife and kids (claiming to love them all while Kevin is ‘okay too’), Chet reveals it was all a prank, and that he’d been in control of the plane the whole time.

It comes just after Frank turns down Chet’s offer to go and cheat on their wives, and gives us an initial insight that Chet is not the charming, helpful soul he appears to be.

Judging by the fact Frank returns home having changed his shirt and his pants, it appears Frank’s reaction to Chet’s stunt wasn’t just the vomit we saw. Gross.
