12. Vladimir Ranskahov

Involved with Fisk from the beginning of the series, the Ranskahov brothers eventually developed different opinions about Fisk's offer to take over their business. When Anatoly was brutally killed, Vladimir was put under the impression his brother's death had come at the hands of the vigilante and, later, that the vigilante had been working for Fisk.

Played by Fisk and blinded by emotion, Vladimir ultimately lost everything before finding himself injured and captured by the vigilante. Throughout a tense night in which the police bore down on them, Vladimir eventually came to realize that the vigilante himself was their best shot at bringing down Fisk, sacrificing his life to buy his temporary ally time to escape.

While Vladimir could have been presented as an easy Russian villain stereotype, his time on the show and interactions with Matt highlighted that not every villain has to be beyond reason, nor does their villainy keep them safe from the even bigger fish like Fisk.
