14. Heartbreak Makes You Stronger

And after those immersive relationships, the heartbreak has never been worse. It€™s a loathsome pit of despair where your gut turns black and it feels like nothing will ever be good again. It€™s a surprisingly deep and touching point for South Park to make in the Raisins episode. Cue depressing montage, Stan is dumped by Wendy and doesn€™t know what to with himself. The gang takes him to Raisins, the pre-teen equivalent of Hooters and Butters finds himself enamored with the first girl who shows him attention. Stan ditches the guys and wallows in self-pity, joining the Goth kids. However, he has a revelation as he stumbles on Butters, who has just found out the girl of his affections never cared for him. Only through Butters' perspective do you find that the pain of heartbreak is a great thing as it can make you feel alive and human. You just have to take the bad with the good. It sure puts a shiny silver lining on one of the worst feelings.
