6. Sex Ed Is Important

With three children aged 9, 11 and 13, sex education and the ins and outs of growing up were bound to come into this program somewhere. When you take into account other young characters like Andy and Ollie, and Jimmy Junior and Tammy, you've suddenly got a whole lot of people who seem seriously confused about sex. The fact that Tina's first line in the whole program is "My crotch is itchy" immediately sounds alarm bells ringing. Some of the best lines include: "All right, I need one of you in front of me and one of you behind me at all times in case there are booby traps" "Booby, booby, booby, booby..." (Louise, Andy and Ollie) €œIf boys had uterus's they€™d be called duderuses" (Tina) "What doesn't break my testicles only makes them stronger" (Gene) €œIf we see any mermaids I€™m gonna ask them where their merginas are€ (Tina) "Kissing is like a fight with lips" (Louise) If those aren't enough reasons to teach your children how bodies work, you might as well just give up now.
