9. Yellowstone

Yellowstone centres around the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton, the owners of the largest ranch in the United States. The series will follow the family's clashes with land developers, an Indian reservation, and America's first national park.

There's a hint of Hell Or High Water in that premise, and with good reason - the series is created by Taylor Sheridan, who wrote both that and Sicario (picking up an Oscar nomination for the former).

Sheridan writes and directs the Paramount Network show, in what sounds like another gripping Western, while the cast is led by Kevin Costner.
