However, if he can finally overcome his personal demons and alcohol issues, he would make for a brilliant housemate. The former footballer has bags of personality and his stories about the capers of him and his friends are legendary. Gazza yearns for the spotlight - it's the fact that he is no longer in it which has driven him to alcoholism - and he is short of cash, so he'd love to be on television again and the hefty fee he'd receive for participating would also be welcomed with open arms.
