Friends: Marcel was a pain in the ass. He clawed at Ross dates, he changed the language on Monicas TV to Spanish and fled the apartment which resulted in Phoebe being shot by a tranquilliser dart. He was funny, but a pain. The Big Bang Theory: Several episodes have shown, or referenced, Amys experimentations upon monkeys, most notably when the smoking chimp blew smoke into Sheldons face. A stickler for germs, that must have peeved Sheldon. Admittedly the connection with this one is a little sparse, but the inclusion of an annoying chimp does draw parallels. The chimp is brought into the social group by a geeky character and is there just for the laughs. Marcel begins humping everyone and everything, whilst Amys chimp grows agitated at the sight of crocodiles munching on monkeys. Even Marcels departure is funny - Ross is being intimate and tender in his goodbye and all Marcel wants to do is hump his leg. Marcel is probably the victor in this particular comparison.
