16 New HBO Series You Need To Get Excited About

Martin Scorsese. Mick Jagger. Terence Winter. There's an awful lot of talent behind HBO's upcoming new drama, which is one of the most exciting new shows of 2016 on any network.

It'll focus on Richie Finestra, the founder of record label American Century, as he struggles to keep his company together at the dawn of punk and disco. Finestra will be played by Bobby Cannavale, finally getting a high-profile chance to show what he can do as a leading man.

The cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, and Juno Temple, while Scorsese will direct the pilot episode (and may helm more as the season progresses). Cannavale in particular looks like he's having a great time, and this show promises: "Crime. Drugs. Sex. Guns. Madness."

What more could you ask for from HBO?
