This one is a big deal basically because of the people behind it: the Wachowski siblings Andy and Lana, best known as the creators of The Matrix. Their movie success has slowed recently, with this years Jupiter Ascending bombing at the box-office, and theyll be hoping a move to the small screen can revive their fortunes. Sense8, which has already had all of its 12 episodes uploaded to Netflix so its there waiting for you, promises to be as mysterious and complex as youd expect from them. It follows the fortunes of eight people around the world, who suddenly find themselves connected to each others thoughts. Each episode will focus on one of the characters in turn, before presumably uniting them all and solving the mystery. It has garnered some pretty strong reviews so far, suggesting that this is one of the original sci-fi shows to watch this summer.
