7. The Next Big Twist - The Good Place
As it nears the end of its second season, NBC's The Good Place can reasonably lay claim to being the best sitcom on TV right now. Uproariously funny and stupendously clever, the series reached a new level in its Season 1 finale with a game-changing twist, and eyes will be on how it attempts to outdo itself.
While another reveal of the same nature might feel too samey (although it wouldn't be beyond Mike Schur's capabilities to pull it off), there's potential for something different in nature yet similarly shocking, especially since there's been talk of how to make this show run for multiple seasons.
That, and the way Season 2 has built up their struggle to reach the actual Good Place, means it feels like another big twist coming, and if it's as great as the first then it'll truly cement this show's status as TV's best comedy.
