Beware The Batman gets a bad rap but the computer-animated series is much better than it's given credit for and over the course of its 26-episode run it produced some great offerings - and this is one of its finest.

Focusing on the arrival of Anarky - an unhinged villain against all things logical who just wants to prove that his unpredictable approach is the way forward - 'Tests' is a non-stop thrill-ride that also boasts a strong narrative, as the antagonist is willing to go to extreme lengths to prove his point and relishes in the fact that he finally has a worthy opponent in Batman.

That unpredictability factors into the episode well as the stakes remain high throughout, and that edge-of-seat approach delivers solid action scenes and some beautifully animated wideshots.
