Becoming is where it all goes down at the end of season two. Buffy had been dragging her feet about dealing with the whole evil Angel thing, but she can't put it off any longer. He is trying to end the world and suck all of humanity into a demon hellscape, after all. This story sees the unholy alliance of Buffy and Spike working together, which is equal parts horrifying and hilarious. There's also a tremendous amount of action here, with different intertwining story lines that utilize all of the characters remarkably well. Becoming has a handful of different classic moments, especially once Buffy and Angel finally have their long-awaited stand off. It also features several flashback sequences that further explain Angel's character, as well as conclusion that really makes you wonder where the show will be headed in the next season.
