Worth watching for the musical guests alone (the first two episodes featured Prince and D'Angelo), The Chris Rock Show saw the greatest living stand-up comedian try his hand at late night TV.

The result is more Saturday Night Live than The Tonight Show, which plays to Rock's strengths as there are jokes, high quality sketches and impressive interviews with interesting people such as Conan O'Brien, George Carlin, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Roy Jones Jr, Spike Lee, Marion Barry and Don King. Now that's a quality guest line-up.
