Artwork by production illustrator Laurent Ben-Mimoun indicates the existence of numerous abandoned sequences and concepts from the newest incarnation of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek: Picard.

One such concept suggests a scene set on Mars that featured the manufacture of mechanical androids by Starfleet officers (dressed in Star Trek: Discovery-style medical uniforms).
