4. Arya's Final Line In The Past Three Seasons Is Valar Morghulis
Now that the narrative of individual books is being chopped and changed on a weekly basis, with the hope of one season per novel a long lost ideal, it's easy to think that things in Game Of Thrones would become less defined, each season showing part of a bigger story with little isolated pay-off. And while that's true to a degree, the show still manages to have some nice growing themes - look how Tyrion's journey in Season 4 felt incredibly planned. One of the most fitting examples of this is in Arya's arc. The end of each season has seen her taking a step away from being a Lady Stark, beautifully marked in a distinct recurring manner - her last line in Seasons 2, 3 and 4 has been "Valar Morghulis", High Valyrian for "all men must die". With the impact of each utterance greater than the last (it's said as a farewell to Jaqen H'ghar, marking her first kill and a goodbye to the Hound), it's a nice trait that could easily go unnoticed.
