7. Untitled Tina Fey/Robert Carlock Comedy

There's no title yet for Tina Fey and Robert Carlock's latest sitcom, which has received a series order from NBC, but those two names alone are enough to make it terrifically exciting. After all, the pair worked together on 30 Rock, while Fey has made a name for herself as a comedy Queen thanks to the likes of SNL and hosting the Golden Globes, and Carlock also worked on Friends, if his sitcom credentials were in any doubt. If you need further proof that good things happen when the two get together, their latest series was Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, one of the best and funniest shows of 2015 (and one that NBC had but sold to Netflix). They're not making that mistake again, locking in this series, which will focus on the relationship between a mother and daughter, which becomes strained when an overly involved New Jersey mother gets a job at her daughter's place of work, a cable news network. If Fey and Carlock can make a series about a woman who was abducted and kept in a bunker by a cult leader work, then they can definitely make a success of this.
