The latest show from mega-producer Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Bridgerton) is based on Jessica Pressler's 2018 New York article about Anna Sorokin, a fraudster who between 2013 and 2017 pretended to be a German heiress named Anna Delvey in order to scam banks, hotels, and wealthy friends out of money.

The brilliant Julia Garner will play Sorokin, while Anna Chlumsky will play Vivian, a fictionalised version of Pressler, likely ensuring this is one of 2022's most dishy must-see character studies.

Garner never disappoints, so expect her to turn it up to 11 here, which should vibe perfectly with Rhimes' penchant for larger-than-life storytelling.

Inventing Anna will premiere on Netflix on February 11th.
